Construction begins at fibre mat plant site in Drayton Valley (Photos)

Construction has begun on the Engineered Fibre Mat Plant. Civil work was completed by Alsaik Construction, the building contract was awarded to MCG Joint Ventures.

On August 26, 2009, TTS was part the Drayton Valley CLIB 2021 opening and sod turning ceremony. Many notable individuals were present who were involved in Drayton Valley's Bio-Mile initiative, including members of the Drayton Valley municipal government.

Commissioned lab-scale engineered natural fibre mat production line

TTS recently completed commissioning a mini-engineered natural fibre mat line at its Edmonton laboratory. The line will be available to produce limited commercial volumes of fibre mat products that will be manufactured in commercial volumes at TTS’ engineered natural fibre mat plant in Drayton Valley, Alberta.

Completed geotechnical survey of engineered fibre mat plant location in Drayton Valley

An engineering firm has completed a geotechnical study of the site for TTS’ engineered fibre mat plant to be commissioned in Drayton Valley, Alberta.

TTS acquires site for engineered fibre mat plant in agreement with Drayton Valley Town Council

TTS is in the process of The Town Council of Drayton Valley, Alberta final stages of negotiating a lease agreement for a site for an engineered fibre mat plant. The plant will be unique in North America in integrating 50 tonnes per day of wood and agricultural fibre into dozens of engineered fibre mats products, including natural fibre insulation and geotextiles.
